Please SAVE THE DATE for our 2018 SMCOG Annual Breakfast Meeting on Wednesday, October 24 from 8:00 AM-10:00 AM, held at the Darr Agricultural Learning Center at 2401 S. Kansas Expressway in Springfield, MO. Breakfast buffet provided!

We are excited to welcome Jay Wunderlich as our guest speaker. Jay is the Governmental Affairs Director for the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) and will speak about transportation funding matters for the State and local governments and will discuss the process which the Missouri General Assembly took that resulted in Proposition D on the ballot. Please note that MoDOT and SMCOG do not advocate for or against Proposition D but our staff can provide information about the proposed ballot measure and its potential impacts on local governments and the State.

The Annual Meeting is a great opportunity to see how the Southwest Missouri Council of Governments is working to improve the quality of our communities through regional cooperation!

This meeting is presented by our 2018 Associate Members!
