SMCOG is Hiring!

The Southwest Missouri Council of Governments (SMCOG) and the Center for Resource Planning and Management (CRPM) at Missouri State University are excited to announce multiple career and internship opportunities.

We are filling two full-time professional planner positions in any combination of:

• Associate Planner (2+ years of experience) – View posting

• Senior Planner (4+ years of experience) – View posting

These positions were originally posted in late 2024 but were placed on hold due to uncertainties in funding and program availability under the new Federal Administration. We are now moving forward to fill two positions - and may also consider hiring an entry-level Planner (view job description).
