ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS - Public Works Tower Blast and Paint

City of Greenfield, Missouri (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Public Works Tower Blast and Paint

Olsson Project No. 022-00642

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall located at 105 S. Grand St., P.O. Box 688, Greenfield, Missouri 65661, until Monday, June 15th, 2026 at 4:00pm local time. No electronic or facsimile bids will be accepted.

The Project includes the following Work

Base Bid consists of fully blasting and re-painting the exterior of the Public Works Tower. Alternate bids for full rehab of the interior dry portion and interior wet portion of the tank are also requested.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Tri-State Area Contractors Association, located at 1216 Illinois Avenue, Joplin, MO 64801. Bidding Documents must be secured at this address or by contacting Tri-State Area Contractors Association at info@tristatecontractors.net or 417-627-9392.

PLEASE NOTE: Official planholders list will only be the list maintained by Tri-State Area Contractors Association. It is the sole responsibility of all planholders, whether they have received digital downloads or paper copies of the plans and specifications, to return to planroom periodically to check for Addenda which may have been posted. Neither the Owner nor Engineers has any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness or sufficiency of any bid documents obtained from any source other than the source indicated in these documents. Obtaining these documents from any other source(s) may result in obtaining incomplete and inaccurate information. Obtaining these documents from any source other than directly from the source listed herein may also result in failure to receive any addenda, corrections, or other revisions to these documents that may be issued.

Pre-bid Conference

There is no pre-bid conference for this project.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to the City of Greenfield, Missouri as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance.

The City of Greenfield, Missouri reserves the right to accept any bid which it deems most advantageous to the Owner, and to reject any or all bids submitted and to hold as many bids as it desires for consideration for a period of forty-five (45) days after the bids are open.

Instructions to Bidders

For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. 

Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and Davis Bacon and/or State Prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246. MBE, WBE, and Section 3-DBE bidders are encouraged to bid. No bidder may withdraw bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
