Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS)
The Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for Southwest Missouri was approved by the SMCOG board on January 25, 2017. This document is the result of a yearlong process by a diverse fifteen member committee representing regional stakeholders. The CEDS provides an overview of regional opportunities, resources and constraints to economic development, and identifies a plan to achieve economic growth.
